Theta Omega Chapter Participates in 2021 Brain Injury Walk

On June 12,2021 twenty-six (26) brothers of Theta Omega Chapter met with other participants at Tom Sawyer Park off Westport Road in east Louisville, KY to participate in the annual Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky (BIAK) Walk. The Walk was designed to generate funds to serve Kentucky citizens whose lives have been affected by brain injury. BIAK serves the community through advocacy, education, prevention, research, service and support. Theta Omega Chapter has the added incentive to support this initiative as Brother Randy Barnett, who led previous walks, suffered massive strokes several years back and now resides in a total care facility. Randy’s son Bryan “Squeek” Barnett coordinated Theta Omega for this year’s walk.

The fund raiser was sponsored by the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky (BIAK) and The Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Foundation.  The fund raiser returned after one-year hiatus due to the Coronavirus-19 pandemic.

Theta Omega chapter and individual brothers donated $1130 to BIAK to aid victims of brain trauma.
