Purple Reign Boat Cruise with the Ques
The Theta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. hosted its annual "Cruise with the Ques" scholarship fundraiser, which featured a "Purple Reign" theme aboard the Belle of Louisville. While the event was intended to be a river cruise, high water levels on the Ohio River prevented the vessel from leaving the dock, turning the occasion into a successful dockside experience. The gathering attracted 268 guests. The organizing committee successfully adapted to all the adverse circumstances to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all attendees. Although attendance fell short of the 400-guest goal, the event generated a net profit of over $500.00 to help support the chapter's academic scholarship fund.
