On 9/20/2023, several Theta Omega brothers witnessed the presentation of the STAR award to Brother William Randy Barnett and Brother Bryan Barnett by Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky (BIAK).
Along with four (4) other award recipients, the STAR Award were made before an audience of approximately 50 persons at the Price Weber facility located at 10701 Shelbyville Road 40243.
Randy and Bryan were recognized for exemplary funds raising and soliciting large number of members who participated in a team during the BIAK Walk. Over the past 10-years, the team has won numerous awards in both categories. Theta Omega Chapter has routinely been an ardent supporter for more than ten years with large number of brothers who physical participated in the annual BIAK Walk.
Randy suffered brain injury several years ago. He has been Theta Omega Chapter’s Perseverance Award for this courage in dealing with the condition since his original stoke. He now resides in a nursing facility, with Bryan acting as his primary caretaker. Theta Omega Chapter continually remembers the contributions that Randy has made to the chapter during and after the homegoing of his Quette Michelle.
Way to go Brothers Randy and Bryan Barnett.
