On Saturday February 1, 2020, approximately 50 brothers from the Theta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, assembled at the Theta Omega, Omega Center, located at 2424 W Chestnut Street Louisville KY 40211 at 10:30 am and began a neighborhood clean up project.
This project marked Theta Omega’s 1st interaction with its new neighbors in the Russell community. The purpose of this initiative served as an effort to uplift the neighbors with goodwill and to be a source of inspiration and guiding light.
Councilwoman Donna Purvis came out to meet and greet the men of Omega and included the cleanup initiative in her District 5 e-Newsletter. Local ABC affiliate WHAS also covered the momentous occasion.
